Maureen Searson

Maureen has lived in the Eurobodalla for over 40 years, first settling in Nelligen and them moving to Catalina 30 years ago. Maureen spent many holidays as a child and young adult around Tathra, Dalmeny and Narooma. Maureen and her husband Paul decided to move from Sydney to the Eurobodalla to establish their life and raise their family.

Along with a hectic life raising five children and 14 grandchildren, Maureen made time to study at Batemans Bay TAFE and then completed her degree in Community and Environment at the University of Wollongong Batemans Bay Campus.

Maureen works as an electorate officer in the Batemans Bay office of Fiona Phillips MP, assisting local residents with a range of issues including accessing health services, aged care, NDIS and on occasions, state and council issues.
