A message from our Labor Councillor​

Good government improves people’s lives and develops the communities where we live. Local councils provide the day-to-day services that support our everyday lives. Central to the leadership role of the Mayor and Councillors is to:

​

• Work with residents to identify and support commnunity priorities and keep that conversation active and productive

• Make informed social and economic decisions on for and on behalf of its residents, and

• Support Council's dedicated workforce.

I believe our Council can and should do a lot more to support the people of Eurobodalla:

​

• Our Council can have an important role in providing housing. We deserve housing that meets our needs and is affordable. This is urgent!

• We need better community services, and community places and spaces to meet and to play. Council can do more!

• Our Council has to be vigilant in managing the impacts of climate change and building resilient communities. There is more to do!

I look forward to supporting our community over the next few years.
